Part 2 of our Closing the Food Loop Series is a review of a local service, Boston Green Blog tried.

A vital part of closing the food loop is supporting local farmers and businesses that offer more sustainable products. Click To Harvest specializes in delivering local agricultural products to your home or office.

Click To Harvest delivered the Boston Green Blog crew five dozen farm fresh eggs, Challah Bread, fresh greens, farm-made sauerkraut, and shiitake mushrooms.

Click To Harvest is an excellent option for people who want to support local farmers but cannot commit to a CSA or attend local farmer's markets. However, the selection is quite slim for vegetarians and vegans.  Additionally, we would have loved to order fresh fruit.

Click To Harvest is more of a sustainable option than bigger box delivery service companies because they source locally.

The food was fresh, delicious, and delivered the week we ordered it!
